Research, teaching, entrepreneurship and personal distinctions are different parts of the professional path behind ART BEAUTY.

01

Biology as a professional path

ABI Biotech introduces Lyudmyla Leukhina as its founder, a biologist and researcher. Her biography brings together molecular biology, physiology, biotechnology and teaching. ABI’s published materials describe more than 30 years of research experience and 23 years in education.

Her listed educational fields include general biology and administrative management, alongside postgraduate study in food nanotechnology. Teaching subjects include microorganism cultivation, biotechnology production, biosafety, anatomy and histology. This professional background provides the context for her interest in developing products.

02

Research: a question, a method and a model

A 2019 paper by L. V. Leukhina in Photobiology and Photomedicine explores the development of protective phytocosmeceutical preparations and experimental methods for studying their effects. One part of the work uses yeast cells as an initial test culture.

In the brand’s history, the paper reflects an interest in natural ingredients and models for evaluating them. The DOI links to the research itself. Its findings concern the experiment described and should not be treated as a separate assessment of today’s finished ART BEAUTY formulas.

03

Knowledge shared with others

In 2020, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics published Biology, a practicum for preparatory students. Its compilers include Yu. V. Buts, A. A. Ivashura, L. V. Leukhina and I. A. Kryvytska. The volume combines theory with practical exercises and is available in the university repository.

That year, Lyudmyla Leukhina also participated in an open discussion organised by the Agency of European Innovations. The programme for 27 October identifies her as a lecturer in molecular biology and biotechnology at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and a co-owner of Art Beauty Industry LLC. Research, education and entrepreneurship meet in that professional conversation.

Four distinctions with a personal history

ABI’s biographical materials display four photographs: the Order “Power of Mercy”, a white cross inscribed “Honour and Glory”, the Order of Saint Princess Olga, and the medal “For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine”. The gallery brings them together with links to the original photographs.

The Kraina public organisation’s statute identifies “Power of Mercy” as a civic distinction for dedicated work by medical professionals. “For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine” has a church origin; a 2015 Kharkiv regional administration report documents the historical medal. These distinctions belong to the founder’s personal history, rather than certification of cosmetic formulas.

From ART BEAUTY INDUSTRY to the story today

The company’s history begins in 2015. The archive subsequently brings together research and teaching materials, a 2021 Nepal expedition banner, photographs from Ararat and videos of support for Ukrainian service members. The episodes differ, but share a connection to the people developing products and those who use them.

Our About page presents these materials as one connected story. Original publications, captioned photographs and the voices in the videos turn dates and documents into the living history of ART BEAUTY.
